As with some other out of city centre pubs ( Portland Arms, Star Bar ) this has probably never been seen by as many people as it should. Go, now that you have the chance.

With the great news that this bar is going to be reopening after almost three years of closure i stopped by to quickly see if i could get a quick look inside.
Happily the bar is still sound and ,at the very least, in need of a deep clean. The mirrors are intact and this will be a great if slightly out of the way bar.
This along with Portland Arms and Star Bar ( esp the front gushet bit ) are among the best looking bars but sadly unknown to most of the general population.

Another great looking bar. Well worth a visit.
