There should be a mini "maklab" type places next to this as well as another in Kinning Park/Tradeston next to the supply warehouses to feed off tradespeople and the suppliers. Add one in the East End and one in the North/West of the city.
Expand the idea of maker spaces and include all sorts. There are certainly the buildings available to use.
